How does the Safe Outside NFC tag work?

Each accessory has a unique NFC chip. When someone scans it with a smartphone, they are guided to contact you and share the location so you can respond immediately.

Do I need a special app to use the NFC tag?

No. Any modern smartphone can scan NFC. Parents manage details and alerts through the Safe Outside dashboard after purchase.

What happens when a finder scans the tag?

They see a secure form to share the location and start a chat. You receive an instant alert and can respond in real-time.

Can I update my child’s details later?

Yes. You can edit profiles and medical notes anytime in your parent dashboard.

Is the tag waterproof and durable?

Yes. All accessories are designed to handle daily wear, outdoor play, and light water exposure.

Can I move a tag to another child?

Yes. Deactivate the tag in the dashboard or ask an admin to deactivate it, then re-register it to another child.

How fast will I be notified?

Alerts are instant. As soon as the finder submits the form, you get a notification and can open the case chat.

What if I lose my login access?

Use the password reset flow on the login screen. If you still need help, contact support.
