Safe Outside combines NFC accessories, instant alerts, and secure communication so families can reunite quickly.
1. Connect the NFC accessory
Log into your Safe Outside dashboard, select your child profile, and tap “Register NFC Tag”. Enter the chip code and attach the accessory to the child’s bag, shoe, or wristband.
2. Finder scans the tag
Anyone who finds your child scans the NFC tag using their phone. The secure finder form lets them share the location and send a message.
3. Parents are notified instantly
You receive a live alert in your dashboard and email notification. The case chat opens so you can coordinate quickly.
4. Close the loop safely
Once reunited, the parent confirms the child is safe. The case is closed and recorded for your history.
How the finder notifies you
The NFC scan opens a guided form that asks the finder to share their contact name, message, and approximate location. Submitting the form creates a secure case in your dashboard.
Secure parent–finder communication
Both adults can message inside the case chat. Notifications keep you updated until you mark the case as resolved.
Deactivating a chip
If you want to move a tag to another child, deactivate it in the admin NFC inventory (or request support). Once deactivated, it can be registered again like a new tag.
